What’s UP?

Today is Wednesday, and we are half way through Brad’s trip.  I’m tired, so you get this post in a list form.  Good stuff guys.  Good stuff.

1.  Aus & Co. are in China and they have their boy!   He is a CUTIE!!!  Go read their blog and see why we love those crazy friends of ours so much!

2.  Sam has struggled and struggled to sleep alone in his room.  Three nights in a row, he woke up at least 5 times between 7:30 PM bedtime and 5:30 AM.  The fourth night he woke up 3 times.  Not cool.  But last night, he woke up to eat at 10 PM – then slept until 6:45 AM.  Yay Sammy!!!  Sleeping baby = happy mommy!

3.  The speech therapist was so excited to tell me that Will can now make a “D” sound!  We’ll get there, one phoneme at a time!

4.  Jack’s bedroom is 100% done.  Curtains, lamps, furniture, pictures on the wall, etc.  Done!

5.  Margaret figured out that if she puts her spelling words to the tune of “BINGO” or “Mary Had a Little Lamb” she can get them right every time.  Can’t wait to see her spelling test this Friday!

6.  I didn’t talk to Brad today.  Jack did.  He was impressed when Brad told him that the police carry “AK’s”.  That’s all I got from their conversation. Then I had to yell at Jack to get his shoes on for school.

That’s it for now.  Sam is awake, so it must be time for his bedtime snack.  I took this picture today.  I like his little piggies hanging out in the foreground.

    Lynn,
I have been praying constantly for Brad and Paul — and you. Being the “mom” in charge is not easy. I know you can do it — but I also know the toll it takes. We pray for Brad’s safe return to you and his family. You and your family are such an inspiration to me. I admire your husband — he is a good man.
Take care and if you need anything — please let me know. I would be happy to help with anything.

Hope you got my message — praying for each of you, and especially Brad’s safety.
